Season 2! Let’s Get Deeper

100 episodes ago, I started The Get the F*ck Off Podcast with the sole intention to help people “get off the smokes, get off the sauce, get off your ass.”

The thing is, as a coach, I have worked with almost no one who has had this desire.

This is because by the time people get to me, they know that their symptoms (drinking, overeating, smoking, gambling, over-working, constantly producing, UNDER-producing, crippling anxiety) are all a surface-level manifestation of the deeper shit living in their subconscious minds that needs to seen, understood, re-wired, or made peace with.

I debated changing the name of my podcast many times, but I realized that it is the prime example of something people start listening to to get what they want, and instead they get exactly what they need.

To “get off the smokes, get off the sauce, get off your ass” you very much need to take whacks at your ego, and explore your inner realities and upset that keep you in that space.

Putting a rigor or routine on it, reinforcing yourself with goodies and treats, or constant abstinence for the long haul of ever with the idea you’re missing out on something will only lead you right back to where you began.

What does Get the F*ck Off really mean?

Get off your shit. Get off of this soapbox of story you tell, over and over, where you paint yourself as heroic because you’re in constant endurance of anything that is slowly killing you.

It’s not attractive. YOU are not attractive. And I don’t mean the way you look.

We’re getting deep and staying deep in Season 2. I’m exploring a lot in my work, and this podcast will reflect that.

If you still have the humble idea that all you want to do is stop smoking weed, that’s fine, stay. But weed is not your problem. It never was.

Here’s to the next 100 episodes!

AS I MENTIONED in the episode, I am giving a stop-drinking/dry January series (completely informational) called The Sober Series. It is on AllTakes, and it is three hour and a half classes.

Register here: https://alltakes.com/get-off/sober-series

It is $49 bucks for the series. If you don’t have $49 but you have the money to go to the bar three times per week, this is a matter of priorities. Where the energy goes, the energy flows. If you constantly flow it towards illness rather than wellness, you will continue to receive illness.

If you love GTFO and would like to support me in my next 100 episodes, here’s a link to the tip jar:
