A Brief Podcast on Responsibility

This week, I’ve been preparing to shift gears a little bit, as for the new few weeks, I’ll be bringing on some amazing guests to share their stories and experiences with all of you.

Thus, this episode is the latest (and shortest) one I’ve done since I started the Get the F*ck Off Podcast.

It has to do with responsibility.

As the late, great Wayne Dyer once said, responsibility is exactly that: to respond with ability.

We, as humans, can sometimes be misguided about responsibility.

For example, if something went horribly awry in your childhood, that is not your fault. However, how you manage yourself as an adult is your responsibility.

We don’t always like to take responsibility for that. However, we will often find ourselves taking responsibility for nonsensical things that are not our responsibility.

We will allow others to make us feel bad that our lack of “picking up the slack” will make their lives harder when the “slack” was not caused by us and is not our responsibility to correct.

We need to make ourselves our number one priority.

Our well-being is our main responsibility.
