There’s a ton of reasons why New Year’s Resolutions don’t work. Something like 80% of New Year’s Resolutions fail, and it’s for a wide variety of reasons.
In this podcast, I go into the many reasons why New Year’s Resolutions do not work- among them being
-Unrealistic Expectations
-Too Much Too Fast
-Lack of Commitment to Daily Habits
And most importantly
-The fact that you’re the same old you!
Changing a habit (and making it stick) requires reprogramming of the way you think! If you start something new but continue to think in the same old way, you’ll always go back to being the same old you.
That would be perfectly fine if you’re happy with the same old you, but if you’re happy with that “same old you,” then why are you making the resolutions in the first place?
